In order for the network to be secured, you need to install the SSL certificate for your network and it can be done by login as a network creator and then go to domain mapping and select 'use SSL certificate for my network' ( see the screenshot)

As you are not a Network Creator, you don't have access to this settings.
Please, ask Network Creator to turn on SSL for your network http://kulturit.ning.com/
